Saud Bahwan Group

Saud Bahwan founded the Saud Bahwan Group with his brother, Suhail, and the Bahwan family relocated to Muscat in 1965. In the 1970s, it partnered with Toyota to become its distributor in Oman. His son Mohammed, who is currently the Chairman, inherited the business after Bahwan passed away in 2008. Aside from Toyota, the group’s brands include Lexus, Hino, Yokohama, Komatsu, Kato, and Ford. In September 2023, Chery Automobile, a China-based automobile manufacturer, signed a distribution agreement with the Saud Bahwan Group
